DEXA Technician (Part-Time) – Physique Science - Stafford, Brisbane (35 Babarra Street) 

 

Job hours: Mondays, Wednesdays | ~5:30 am /6:00 am – 10:00am​; & Occasional Saturdays 430am-1030am

Role Description

As a DEXA Technician with Physique Science, you'll be a key part of our morning clinic team. You’ll be responsible for:

• Conducting DEXA scans for body composition ​for all types of clientele. 

• Guiding clients through the scan process and making them feel comfortable

• Interpreting and explaining scan results using our reporting system in a sensitive, respectful way

• Handling client flow, ​payments,​ treatment notes and morning clinic logistics​

• Maintaining a clean, organised scan room and taking care of equipment

You are:

• An early riser who thrives in the quiet, focused energy of the morning shift

• Energised by fast-paced but short bursts of work

• Confident in your communication skills, particularly when discussing personal and often sensitive body composition results

• Highly detail-oriented, with a commitment to accurate data and client care

• Trustworthy, reliable, and flexible when needed

• Comfortable working independently within a small, tight-knit team
   

Desirable Experience

• ​Dietitian with a provider number 

• All training is fully provided—and paid for. You do not need prior DEXA experience. We will invest in your development to ensure you feel confident, knowledgeable, and supported in the role.

• ​​Highly desirable - already contains a radiation use licence.
