Meet Amie Cox, Owner of Physique Science

Updated: Feb 6, 2019

Hi! I'm Amie Cox and I own Target Nutrition and Physique Science.

I thought I'd say hi and share a little of my background with you and talk about the kinds of clients I work with most.

I am a sports dietitian and have been an accredited practicing dietitian for almost five years now. And I absolutely love what I do.

I really like to teach people to eat the right food at the right time to support what they're doing in their diet. Not just to see a body composition change (lose fat or gain muscle) but to improve their quality of life as well.

The types of clientele I mostly work with are…

CrossFit clients…. because I have have competed in CrossFit, I understand how the body works under that type of stress and intensity and how food can really make a big difference in how people train and perform in competition.

Olympic weightlifting athletes or power-lifting athletes…. again, I have competed myself. Mainly I look at trying to help athletes make weight for the sport. I love the mathematics of the numbers and teaching people how to make weight through little changes in fluid or food, and seeing how they can drop weight in a short period of time without affecting their performance.

But that doesn't mean I don’t see other clients.

Whether you're interested in general healthy eating, weight loss, have food intolerances/allergies, issues with fertility, or medical conditions such as diabetes, PCOS, heart disease, I offer one-on-one dietitian consultations and can build you tailored, evidence-based dietary advice to suit your individual needs.

So please come in and have a chat or send us an email at info@physiquescience.com.au

You can also book an appointment here.
